SKCAC is a great company to work with! When we are in need of a unique solution for a customer, they always seem to come thru for us.

I am very grateful to that I found SKCAC. Working with you has been reassuring and comforting to know that the program was being fulfilled under your watchful eye. I could not have asked for anything more from you or your team.  I thank you and Ignacio both for a job well done!

“We have been working with SKCAC for many years.  They have warehoused and shipped our products to most of our important customers.  One very important industry for us is the aerospace.  Travis and his group make sure our products are shipped when requested.  Product is palletized and loaded on trucks.  SKCAC makes sure this is done properly and with all correct documentation. This is very important especially when dealing with overseas shipments.  We never worry about our orders when Travis and Ignacio are at the helm.  I would recommend SKCAC to anyone who needs warehousing and special treatment.  All our customers expect special treatment. We are very spoiled by their service they offer. “

Thank you.

Have a wonderful Day.  Stay Safe !!

Kind Regards,

SKCAC has been a terrific resource for us here at Plastiform.  They’ve been eager to learn how to manufacturer our product and have been very accommodating when it came to the shipping packaging, making the whole process of doing business with them easy, efficient, and affordable.  We’ve also found Travis to be very professional and quick to respond to communication.  It’s been a great relationship!

“Employment support has proven to be the key in maintaining a stable foundation necessary for Tristan
to be able to develop into a productive valued employee fully integrated into a professional office
setting.  Your support goes beyond guidance to his on-the-job successes but also helps enable a fuller
and more independent life beyond just the work setting.”

– Eric and Nancy, Parents

“Without the services you have provided, Tim would not have had the kind of employment and
monetary successes he has had.  Your support has made his and our lives much easier than otherwise
would have been the case.  Thank you also for the patience you have shown during the times Tim has
become flustered or had a crisis.”

“Having SKCAC Employment Services support Hilary in her job has helped her thrive in her workplace
and helps make her successful.  Hilary relies on her job coach to help keep her on track and respects her
input.  She has become the eyes and ears for us for Hilary at work so we can further assist Hilary to
remain successful!”

“My son, who has high function autism, has been a supported employee in the City of Seattle for many
years. He often feels encouraged at job review by his supervisor who often praises him for his quality
work. But like many autistic people, he does not have the nuance and sophistication to interact skillfully
with his supervisors and peers for many venues in work life e.g. making plans for job review , or
requesting  new job description when there are open opportunities. His job coach has been playing a
crucial role in helping him in all of the above venues so my son is able to enjoy focusing fully in
producing quality projects at work”

“When teams came to Northshore’s Woodinville High School to speak to parents of children with
disabilities, we were introduced to Puget Sound Personal (now SKCAC Employment Services).
We liked what we heard. We have been utilizing the skills of various job coaches since 2004.
Noah’s successes have been directly attributed to PSP’s/SKCAC’s keen sense of sincere caring for his
well-being.
Their interceding for incremental raises and job trainings attribute to who he has become.
Their consistency is indeed applaudable. When one coach is unavailable another steps in.
We have been pleased for the past 21 years.
Thank you for your hard work from all the Ullstrom Family.”

“Wil says “I love my job at Microsoft”;.  Especially after covid, he’s glad he was able to find a new position
with the Yubikey team.  He misses his old team but likes the new team as well.  Without Laura’s help, he
would not have found another good fit.  His job is so important to him as it gives him independence,
self-determination, pride and adds to the quality of his life.

As a family, we are ever grateful for PSP and now SKCAC, for providing a much-needed service to people
with disabilities.  Working with employers to “carve out” tasks that fit within a person’s skill set takes
perseverance and a special skill set in its own right.  Our population with disabilities are some of the
most loyal employees in the workforce, they just need a helping hand to find the right fit.  Supported
employment vendors, like SKCAC, find that “fit”.
Thank You Laura, and all the folks at SKCAC, for your hard work, perseverance and the valuable service
you provide.”

“I thoroughly believe programs like yours are important because they allow members to be active
members within the community as well as the workforce.  They get to be part of a team, interacting
with their peers and neighbors while adding life and job skills to their toolboxes.
From an employer perspective, the program helps us staff part time positions that we struggle to fill.
Program members fill real roles, performing real functions and duties within our organization
contributing to our success.
From a community member perspective, programs such as this should be funded over others that do
not add back to the community.  Members earn real wages, pay taxes and spend their earnings within
their community.”

-Carl McCauley, General Manager, Dave & Buster’s Auburn

“My son’s successful 10-year employment with the City of Seattle couldn’t have happened without the
amazing support he has received from his SKCAC (previously Puget Sound Personnel) job coaches.  They
have skillfully adapted tasks in consideration of his disability, which has allowed him to grow in his
competence and feel more confident.  Additionally, their conscientious communication with his
supervisors, the supported employment manager, my son, and me has allowed all of us to work
together as a team to ensure his tenure will continue to be successful and rewarding.  We are very
grateful for this support.”

“The longevity of Jennifer’s 23-year career with Allegro Pediatrics is due in no small part to the presence
of her SKCAC job coach.  There have been ups and downs along the way.  With the careful guidance and
coaching that Puget Sound Personnel and now SKCAC have provided for Jennifer, she is a success story.
Staying with one employer for 23 years, in this day and age, is a great accomplishment.  She is valued by
Allegro Pediatrics due to the diligent attention of her job coach.  Navigating work life is difficult for
anyone and especially so for someone with disabilities.  Without a job coach Jennifer wouldn’t have
achieved her work success.  With job coaching Jennifer is a productive member of society.
Washington state’s commitment to job coaching services is an investment that pays dividends for the
general population of the state of Washington.”

-Chris and Vicki, Parents

“First, we would like to thank the state legislature for its past support and all the hardworking job
coaches that make it possible for the disabled to find and maintain good jobs.
Our son has been a supported employee for over 30 years, currently 16 yrs at the same company.  He
has had several changes in his duties over the years and now does tasks that we never thought he could
ever do.  His SKCAC Job coaches have played a key role in this progress.
His ability to work has permitted him to be able to live in an apartment of his own, pay taxes and expand
his activities in the community. Most importantly, his work has given him a sense of pride and
confidence to expand his interactions with the world around him.”

-Wayne and Sharon, Parents

“To whom it may concern,
If it wasn’t for SKCAC and Hailee our son wouldn’t be able to do his job. Our son, Tim, needs help and
constant encouragement to do his job. Hailee has set up a checklist for him to look at so he can do other
things once he’s performed his usual assignments for the day. That way he’s not constantly asking his
office manager for help.
Hailee also comes in every week to check on Tim, to teach new things, encourage, and reinforce him
that he is doing well.
I wish everyone of our state legislators could have our “special” children for a week to see how
important this support is for them.”

“Hi, my name is Anna and over the years I have had super amazing support from the job coaches from
Puget Sound Personnel, now known as SKCAC. Over the last 1 ½ years as my needs change, I’ve always
had amazing support from my job coach Hailee. She has helped me navigate some very challenging
situations at work from how to address mobility challenges to how to handle the rowdy kids/teens at
the library I work at. We’ve worked on producing some solutions like when the library gets busy and
noisy, using music help me focus on my many tasks I have to focus on at work. I don’t know where I
would be as far as a job goes if I didn’t have Hailee to help support me, and guide me. I’ve had my library
job for the last 18 years and I intend to keep my library job for as long as I can keep working. Without
job coach support I’m not sure if I would be as successful as I am today. It’s job coaches like Hailee that
make me an amazing employee and help me navigate an ever-changing work environment. Thank you,
SKCAC, from the bottom of my heart for supporting me and my family for the last 18+ years.
